Download all and follow all instructions carefully:

1. Drivers MTK6516_PL-2303_para_XP, vista y win 7.rar— here

2. 918D system.img (pass: breakk.movilesdualsim.com)— here

3. flash tool and scatter.txt — here

4. EXtract all downloads to a single folder that can be easily located.

5. Backup your files

6. make sure the phone is charged with enough battery then turn the phone off

7. while its off connect the phone to your PC using a USB Cable

8. An unknown device will appear instantly

9. choose to update driver manualy.Depending on the OS you have (xp, vista, 7) install the appropriate driver from STEP 1.

10. If you installed the drivers correctly UNPLUG your phone and you can now proceed to the next step

11. run “Flash_tool.exe” from the extracted files

12. click on the yellow folder button on the right that says “Scatter-loading”

19. You will see a yellow bar @ the bottom, wait until it goes reaches 100%. Once this is done there will be a message that will report that you successfully completed the process,also a green/white circle will appear in the flashtool and on the screen of your mobile the battery charging indicator will appear. UNPLUG the phone from the usb port and press the POWER. The phone will start and the Android logo will appear, now just wait a few minutes without touching anything on the phone (buttons or touchscreen), it will take some time to load the system.img. Once the screen displays the menu that asks for password the for 2 SIM cards you are ready, you have succesfully rooted the 918N!!! JUST HIT THE THANKS BUTTON
