It has been less than a month since the Samsung Galaxy SIII was launch. However today we got news that the Samsung Galaxy SIII is getting the first official firmware update, bringing the phone up to firmware version LF2. This update seem to be for the UK unlocked version, the update will be available through Kies, as well as over-the-air.
The update apparently includes “stability improvements,” though we haven’t noticed any immediate changes in our newly-updated Galaxy S III. AndroidCentral
Some devices are having problem finding the upgrade at first try so try again if there is no initial success . Finally, users are reporting that have lost root access as a result of the upgrade, and as of this time has not been able to reroot their devices with the previously used methods. So be careful while inquiring the update.
