For those of us in the Us who thought we would not see the new HTC devices for a while , there is good news today. If you didn’t know the new HTC devices were not expected to clear customs for another three weeks, but today we learned that this has been fast tracked and yesterday the company announced that some of its products that were banned from entering the US due to patent-infringement concerns is been allowed to enter the US market after passing the customs’ review.
This statement comes after the HTC One X and HTC EVO 4G LTE were not allowed to enter the country, after the US International Trade Commission ruled late last year that HTC had infringed on a crucial patent held by Apple Inc. In the statement HTC said ““The company is closely working with the US customs to speed up the review,” and also. “The company is confident that the problem will be resolved soon.”
